Rollspack Partners With REDcycle
As a sustainability-focused organisation, RollsPack is proud to partner with the REDcycle program, an initiative designed to recover and recycle plastics that would otherwise go to into landfill.
About REDcycle
The program is a partnership between manufacturers, retailers and consumers. The REDcycle team place specially marked bins at Coles & Woolworths supermarkets which consumers can drop their soft plastics into. The collected products are returned to RED Group’s facility for processing then delivered to Australian manufacturer Replas where it is transformed. The resulting recycled-plastic products are extremely robust, as well as water and termite resistant. They won’t crack, splinter or rot and will never need painting.
What Belongs In REDcycle?
People often pick up a piece of plastic and wonder what is and isn’t accepted by REDcycle and the answer lies in the scrunch test. If the plastic can be scrunched up into a ball, then it belongs in a REDcycle drop off bin. If it cannot then it should be placed in your regular recycling bin.
